Who is Sierra?

Sierra Haila is a born and raised Californian and has been acting since the age of 12 when she found her passion for theatre in “Willy Wonka JR” as Charlie Bucket. After graduating high school she went to community college for an AA in Theatre Arts. During her program she learned everything it takes to put on a show. At Sierra College she directed, and built sets. She also did stage hair and makeup for “Lend Me a Tenor.” After graduating with honors from Sierra College in 2024 she relocated to Winter Park, FL to complete her bachelor’s degree at Rollins College and continue to pursue theatre. She is a Theatre Arts major with an emphasis in performance and an Archaeology minor with an estimated graduation date of May 2026. She currently works for the Annie Russell Theatre at Rollins College as a box office associate and as the resident archaeologist. She also works for American Immersion Theater doing improv events such as princess parties and murder mystery dinners. She plans to move to NYC in fall of 2026 but is willing to be based wherever work may take her.

When she’s not acting she’s working on plays as a stage hand, and has worked as costume’s pre/post crew, hair and makeup crew, as well as a spot light operator. Outside of theater, Sierra is a published poet and hopes to hone into her writing craft more. A few writing samples can be found in the “resume” section. When the dust is settled you can most likely find Sierra at home on the couch with her cat, Squirrel, and her best friend. ♡
